I’m Alicia — an artist, photographer, horsewoman, and lifelong storyteller with a deep love for creating pieces that preserve the horses who mean the most to us.
For me, these models are about far more than simply recreating the shape of a horse. They’re about capturing the individual character, presence, and spirit of that horse — the expression in their eyes, the way they carry their neck, the details of their face, the movement in their body, and all of the little things that make them unmistakably theirs.
My background in professional photography and visual art has shaped the way I approach every commission. I study photographs carefully, looking beyond measurements and anatomy to understand the unique details that make your horse recognizable. From there, I create the sculpt digitally before bringing it into the physical world through 3D printing.
But the printing is only the beginning.
Every piece is individually 3D sculpted, prepared, refined, primed, and hand-painted by me. I build the finish layer by layer, carefully adding colour, shading, markings, texture, muscle definition, facial detail, and the subtle imperfections that make a horse feel real. No two pieces are painted exactly alike, because no two horses are alike.
I’m especially drawn to creating memorial and portrait pieces — artwork that allows someone to keep a tangible representation of a once-in-a-lifetime horse close forever. Whether it is a beloved competition partner, a childhood horse, a heart horse, or one who has crossed the rainbow bridge, I understand that these pieces carry enormous meaning.
My goal is never to create something that simply looks like a horse.
I want to create something that makes you stop and say, “That’s my horse.”
Each commissioned model is created as an individual work of art, made with patience, intention, and an incredible amount of attention to detail. It is my privilege to take your photographs and memories and turn them into something beautiful that can be treasured for generations.

About the Artist/Sculptor
Step One- Equine Study
Each sculpture begins with photographs of the horse. I study these images to get an accurate depiction of the horses' build, structure, pose and personality. I want to hear all about your special horse! There is no such thing as too many photos!
Step Two- The Sculpt
Using a 3D sculpting software, I create the general body shape, pose and structure. From here I add all of the fine details that make your horse unique. This process can take weeks to complete.
Step Three- The Print and Prep
Using a state of the art 3D printer, each sculpt is prepared and the printing process begins. This step can take multiple days to complete. The print is made from the highest quality PLA. The prep stage ensues once the printing is complete. This stage takes an incredible amount of time to remove supports, sand, prime and repeat this process at least 6 times.
Step Four- Airbrushing and Final Details
This is where your equine sculpture really comes to life! Where needed, I will add epoxy clay, veining etc. I begin by putting down layers of airbrushing- I start building on the tones that make up your horses coat colour. I use a blend of pastels and acrylics and fine paint brushes to add the eyes, hooves and markings. The final step is a matte varnish and glossing the eyes.
"Her Artistry is nothing short of Magnificent"
This seller and her artistry is nothing short of magnificent! She created a perfect likeness of my beloved Tucker. She was so compassionate about my heartbreak over losing him and she was so careful to capture every last little detail; from the way his forelock tended to part in the middle, to the little lock of long hair I always left when I roached his mane in the spring, to the softness of his eyes. Even the way she packaged everything was so extraordinarily thoughtful. I've felt stuck reliving the last terrible hour of Tuck's life but Ali Nicole's beautifully rendered model of him has helped me shift focus to the memories of those 23 wonderful years we had together instead. Thank you so much.
Model with Memorial Box
"The Artist Truly Cares"
***** I cried when I opened the package. I am blown away with the care, details and empathy with which this whole process was conducted. I feel like the artist truly cares. I lost my mare last year and wanted a memorial model of her. The communication was fantastic with each step, the STL model approval, the nearly finished painting; all of it showed that she cares about what she is doing. The packaging and the card on the inside of the package all made this feel like the artist understood the true weight of what this "simple" model meant to me. My mare is gone from this world and all I have are memories and mementos. This model is a beautiful memorial and looks just like her. Thank you so much for doing what you do! I will highly recommend your shop to everyone!

TESTIMONIALS
Customer Reviews
Each memorial sculpture is a deeply personal work of art, created to honour the life, spirit, and individuality of a beloved horse or pet. From carefully studying photographs to refining the sculpted details and building layers of hand-applied colour, every piece involves an extensive, multi-stage process. Depending on the complexity of the sculpture, the level of detail, and the finishing techniques required, a commissioned memorial may take several months to complete. This time is essential to the craftsmanship behind each piece, allowing every marking, feature, and subtle detail to be thoughtfully considered. These are not mass-produced keepsakes, but individually crafted tributes created with the intention of preserving a special bond in a tangible, lasting form.
